LCHS played all games on Hays Field at LCU
LCU dedicated current land of Eagle Field to LCHS to have an our own field. In that first year began turning the original LCC baseball field, now long time abandoned soft ball field into what is now know as Eagle Field. Major accomplishment was Caliche was removed and dirt brought in.
Current sprinkler system installed and grass begins to grow.
New scoreboard (no longer here) and New Lights are installed. They were the lights at Jones Stadium for Tech Football. Several dads retrofitted all 64 lights, braces built and LP@L donated the poles and hung the lights. Batting cages were moved to existing location and would later be expanded.
Current Dugouts, wall behind home plate and Eagle Clubhouse was built. Clubhouse was named McGyver Clubhouse because dads of LCHS baseball were known as the McGyvers after the television fictional character.
Current fence that surrounds Eagle Field would be built. Current Stands brought over from Moegle Field and retrofitted for Eagle Field.
Current Pressbox would be built by Dads of the Eagle baseball program. This would provide JV locker room, new bathrooms, concession stand and press box area with Umpires room, media room and viewing Suite.
Playing surfaces continues to get better each and every year.
Current stands get a much needed face lift to where they are today.
The Rick Furr batting cages and bull pen area would get a much needed upgrade.
Current Scoreboard is built.
Current green outfield fence slats placed one by one on outfield fence and new brick walls built in front of each dugout.
Current Indoor batting cages would be built.
