Lubbock Christian School is able to offer students a variety of areas for participation. Strong band and choir programs have been the recent recipient of State honors. Other activities available for LCS students include art, science fair, twirling, drum majors, flag corps, and literary meets like “One Act Play” and academic meet. Lubbock Christian School boasts a strong and capable student senate that is involved in several areas of community work. Journalism and yearbook staff are also in place for publications on a local and state level.
Membership is limited to juniors and seniors who attain the standards of the National Council of the National Honor Society. The students are selected on the basis of their academic achievement, service, citizenship and leadership. The principal and teachers are both involved in the selection process. Once inducted into the society, students must continue meeting the standards set forth by the council.
The heart behind this program is to have a group of young adults learning how to work hard and give back. We want them to understanding both are rewarding.
