School Needs

Lubbock Christian School has been so richly blessed by our gracious and caring Father and through the generosity of many LCS faithful.  We are grateful for the countless blessings that have been lavished upon our school.

I am frequently asked what the most pressing needs of LCS are. This wish list was created to provide a description of many of the needs of the school, both great and small, and to provide our stakeholders with a means by which to help.  Every gift, whatever the size, truly makes a difference.

Pay For a Day Campaign

Funding an Exceptional Education
One Gift, One Day at a Time

Christian education at Lubbock Christian School is 87% supported by tuition and fees. Tuition and fees are set with the priority to keep costs within the reach of everyday families. A gap of approximately 13% of our operating budget needs to be raised in order to maintain the current excellent education. This gap is equivalent to $175/day – the amount needed to provide teacher benefits, financial aid and continued classroom improvements. This means we have 365 we need to fund.

Would you consider paying for a day?

If you would like to Pay For a Day at Lubbock Christian School or find out more information about the program, contact Kristin Hagins, Director of Development, at 806.796.8700 or by email at khagins@lubbockchristian.org

Cornerstone Campaign

The continued success of Lubbock Christian School in both academic and extracurricular endeavors requires a master plan. This includes new construction and renovation of existing facilities to ensure the advancement of the school’s programs and goals. The Cornerstone Campaign is a comprehensive fundraising program initiated to raise the necessary funds to strengthen our ministries and programs, allowing for growth in the demand for Christian education in the greater Lubbock area.

The Lord has continued to bless and LCS is growing like never before. After the successful completion of the Cornerstone Campaign’s first two phases, school leadership decided to move forward with the next phase. A firm was hired to aid in the execution of phase three of the Cornerstone Campaign: a state-of-the art, two-story elementary building and a revamped drop off and pick up area that has greatly improved morning and afternoon traffic flow. This new facility serves as a powerful first impression to Lubbock area families looking for quality Christian education.

Working Together

The total cost of phase three was approximately $6.25 million dollars, an amount unprecedented in the life of the school. However, Lubbock Christian School has seen God provide in the past through the generosity of our families, friends and corporate sponsors.  We are confident that as we each play the part we’ve been called to play, we can impact the lives of Christian students and leaders for generations to come.

What will your legacy be?

A legacy is a gift given to benefit future generations.

While you may never see your legacy come to fruition, its impact on others will be forever revered. Look back on your own life, and you will see legacy-leavers everywhere, from the founding fathers of our nation to your parents, former teachers, and elder family members. These people left you with an example of how to live. Now it is your turn to decide what kind of legacy you will leave for posterity.

Legacies do not happen overnight, nor do they happen by accident. They are deliberately crafted over years of hard work and dedication.

Plan for the Future

Have you considered extending your generosity beyond your lifetime by naming Lubbock Christian School in your will or estate plans? These gifts make an undeniable impact on the lives of our students today and in the future. Your legacy gift will enable Lubbock Christian School to provide a quality environment in which each student will grow in wisdom, stature, and favor with God and man.

Choose how you will be remembered. A will, bequest, or estate gift is an investment in the future of Lubbock Christian School and the lives of our students.

For more information about planned giving through a will, bequest or estate gift, contact Kristin Hagins, Director of Development, at 806.796.8700 or khagins@lubbockchristian.org.
